We’re bringing these improvements and bugfixes in this release:

Outdoor Payment Terminal (OPT)

This release brings additional functionality for the OPT (Outdoor Payment Terminal )

OPT - Status of the last payment

The cash register displays the status of the last payment on the OPT only in the daily mode (in the night mode it is not necessary as the payment is secured by a pre-authorization and the additional check is not needed):

  • successful payment on the OPT → a dispenser is release for another fueling;

  • unsuccessful payment on the OPT → the OPT icon on the cash register sales screen is returned back to the state when the cashier can add the dispenser’s transaction into the basket.

The regression test it not necessary.

Test steps 1

  • Fueling via OPT

  • Select method of payment

Expected result

  • the payment is proceed and the receipt printed from the OPT

  • Fueling via OPT

  • Select method of payment: Bank card

  • During the payment enter wrong PIN code

Expected result

  • Unsuccessful payment - it is possible to manually add the dispenser’s transaction into the basket.


OPT - Service mode

Via cash register it is possible to switch the OPT to the daily/night mode and now also to the service mode. This mode can be used when an OPT screen needs to be cleaned (in this mode the OPT does not react to any screen interaction) or for a printer testing.

The regression test it not necessary.

Test steps

  • a longer touch on the OPT icon on the cash register screen

  • from the menu, selected Service mode

Expected result

The OPT is switched into the service mode (green screen)

OPT - Other improvements

Loyalty program - coupons

  • after the customer is identified (loyalty customer) a screen with the available coupons opens

  • deleted coupons (if the customer decided not to apply it) can be again loaded and used for the same purchase

  • scanned coupon is properly displayed on the OPT screen

Regression test of the Loyalty program on the OPT

Test steps

  • Read the loyalty card, the customer is properly identified

  • Apply the coupon, remove the coupon from the basket, then try to apply it again

  • Scan the coupon

Expected result

  • The loyalty information present on the OPT screen

  • The coupons available for the card are displayed on the screen

  • The coupon is applied - discount provided

  • The information about the collected points for the purchase is printed on the receipt from the OPT (the rules are the same as for the purchases on the cash register)

Adjusted receipts printed from the OPT

Receipts printed from the OPT were adjusted in order to contain the same information as the receipts printed from the cash register. (it is technically not possible to format the receipt contain to look the same as the receipt from the cash register, that is why the OPT receipts have more simple structure.)

Test steps

  • Fueling via OPT

  • Select method of payment (various: tax / non-tax)

  • Pay for the fueling

Expected result

  • The receipt printed from the OPT contain the same information as the receipts printed from the cash register (except the formatting).
