Movement btw Products / Stocks
Movement between products lets you adjust the quantities of two similar products if they have been confused in sales. However, these are always products in a single storage.
This situation occurs, for example, if a cashier has been charging customers for turnips all day instead of beetroots, and it is only discovered in the evening during an inspection. In this case, there are more beetroots and fewer turnips in the system than in reality. Therefore, the number of beetroots in the system will have to be reduced by the number of incorrectly recorded turnips.
Movement between stocks lets you register in the system that goods have been moved from one location to another. However, this must always be the same product.
This is the case if, for example, you have one store in the centre and another one on the outskirts. Both had the same supply of carrots, but the sale of carrots is going very well in the centre so far, while in the store on the outskirts, the same amount would have spoilt before it was sold. Therefore, you are transporting the carrots from the outskirts to the centre and transferring the quantity from one stocks to another stocks in the system.
Search > type in the bar anything you want to use to find a specific movement. To start filtering, press enter or click on the magnifying glass.
Funnel with a cross > cancel filtering.
You can also cancel the filter by clicking on the cross in the search bar to delete the search text.
You can use the refresh arrow to update the list of movements.
You can use the plus icon to add new movement.
Completed movements have a green checkmark in the column. If a movement has only been saved and is not yet completed, it has a red cross in the column.
Pencil > opens the movement for editing and completion, if it has only been saved so far and so is marked with a red cross. Paper Sheet > displays a preview of the completed movement.
Menu opens using the three dots at the end of the row of the movement marked by clicking on it:
Copy movement > lets you open a new movement with the same settings and the same products as the movement that is being copied.
You can easily and quickly repeat the movement if a similar situation occurs more frequently.
Print movement > opens a preview of the movement ready to print in a new web browser tab.
Delete movement > this is only possible if the movement is in progress, i.e. marked with a red cross.
The main windows of the Movement between stocks and Movement between products sections look and work the same. The only differences are when creating a new one.
When creating a new transfer, a red pencil appears in the top right, indicating that the transfer is not yet complete and work can be done on it. As soon as the pencil turns into a green sheet of paper, this means you are looking at a preview of an already completed and closed transfer.
Date/Time is filled in automatically current, but it can be overwritten to a desired value.
At the beginning of the movements always first select in the Storage selection fields in which storage or between which storages the movement is to take place. Only then will the system allow you to add products to the movement using the plus icon in the circle in the middle on the right.
You can add additional product rows with the plus icon or enter or tab key. Use the bin at the end of the row selected by clicking on it to delete a spare row.
You can Save the work in progress. Such a movement will be marked with a red cross in the list and you can continue with it any time by selecting the row and clicking on the pencil icon at the end.
Save as completed ends the work with the movement and it is then no longer possible to correct it retroactively.
The completed transfer window has a green paper sheet in the top right and can be printed using the blue printer button.
For a Movement between products, find the goods you would like to replace in the Product number field. You can search for goods by name, number or even barcode. If you have a connected barcode scanner, you can input the goods using the scanner.
Always fill in the Transferred quantity field of the replaced product.
Then, in the second field Product number search for the goods that have a lower quantity in the system than in reality.
Before saving, check the Result quantity field to see if it matches reality.
For a Movement between stocks, find the product you would like to send to the second location in the Product number field. You can search for goods by name, number or even barcode. If you have a connected barcode scanner, you can input the goods using the scanner.
Always fill in the Transferred quantity field of the moved product.
If you are transferring more than one item at a time, add a new row and fill in the next product you would like to move.
