Basic Navigation

 

 

As soon as you launch the Posybe app at the cash register, you can log in.

Each user should have his own access to the cash register. This will give you an overview of who sold how much of what at the cash register or performed other actions. Access is created by a manager in Cloud Office in the User Management section.

 


 

Login

 

In the initial cash register screen, click on the user button that was created for you. Then enter your PIN and log in automatically once you enter the correct one.

If the screen has not changed, you have not yet entered the PIN correctly/fully.

 

In the POS Settings, there can be enabled the option that if a trading day/shift is already started by one of the cashiers, another user cannot log in to the cash register during this shift. To be able to log in another user, the original one must end his shift.

Always log out when you have finished working with the cash register so that the next cashier can log in on himself. (In the main cash register window, click the last Log out tile.)

 


 

Main window

 

After launching the cash register, you will see the following tiles:

 

Sale, see Sale and Cancellation.

If clicking on the sale is the first action of the day, the cash register opening can be triggered.

Cash allows you to record a deposit or withdrawal and displays a list of them, see Cash Handling.

Transaction history shows sales and cancellations list, see Transactions.

Closure will show a list of all trading days/shifts of this cash register, both closed and currently open, see Closures.

Customers open a list of regular customers with their saved data to create a so-called simplified invoice, see Customer identification.

 

Settings this particular cash register, it can only be done by a manager with sufficient permissions. See POS Settings.

Log out returns to the login window, see above.

Main menu

 

After opening one of the tiles, there are three white lines in a blue circle at the top left to display the main menu. In the menu you can see the following rows and options:

 

Sale, see Sale and Cancellation.

Transactions display a list of sales and cancellations, see Transactions.

Financial transactions show a list of prepaid card top-ups.

Devices show fuel dispensers and fuel tanks, see Devices.

Cash movements allow you to record a deposit or withdrawal and displays a list of them, see Cash Handling.

Fuel inventory contain records of all fuel level measurements, see Fuel Inventory.

Customers open a list of regular customers with their saved data to create a so-called simplified invoice, see Customer identification.

Closures will show a list of all trading days/shifts of this cash register, both closed and currently open, see Closures.

Price changes show the history of price changes and there is an option to manually reprice fuels, see https://posybe.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EN/pages/9286877564.

Inventory status allows you to control the quantity and price of products at the store, see https://posybe.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EN/pages/9286844893.

The Close POS button ends the current trading day/shift, see Cash register closing.

The Main menu button will take you to the main window, see above.

Use the blue button at the bottom left to open the cash drawer. (If you have one attached.)

The last gray line shows the POS version.

Top bar

 

In most cash register windows, you can see a bar at the top where various icons are displayed. Some are always visible; others are displayed only when needed.

Three lines top left will take you to the menu and from there anywhere else in the cash register.

If the tank icon is lit, the fuel delivery is started.

See Fuel delivery in the Devices chapter.

 

The blue head indicates an identified customer.

See Customers chapter.

 

When the clock appears, you need to enter the status of the offline tanks.

Click the F in the rectangle to check the status of the fiscal module.

 

A green tick in a cloud indicates that the register is online.

Click to view details.

 

On the right, there is always a cash register designation, in our example S2UP1.

Click to see more information about the register.

 

The last icon on the right indicates who is logged in at the cash register.

Switch off / Restart

 

If you want to turn off the cash register or need to restart it, first click on the Log out button in the main window (see above). This will return you to the login window, where you click on the power button in the bottom left and select one of the options in the expanded menu.
