Improvements

Price change of the dry goods

We improved the functionality for the price change of the “standard” goods, which was working previously for the High risk products only.

The notification about the newly scheduled price change is displayed on all POSes on the location before the change. This price change will be executed automatically at the scheduled date/time, it is not necessary to provide the additional approval on the POS to execute the change.

Open the cash drawer when connected directly to the POS

Due to the fact that the cash drawer can be connected to the cash register directly, not only via additional device, we now support also such case and the drawer communicates with the POS and opens.

EAN codes duplicity

Each merchant can have slightly different way how the products are managed and configured, so we added the new option to choose whether the duplicated EANs are allowed or not:

• duplicity allowed = 2 and more products can have the same EAN code

• duplicity not allowed = the system will not allow to have 2 products with the same EAN code

If the duplicity is allowed, when scanning the goods with the duplicate EAN, the POS offers all the goods with the given EAN code and the cashier chooses which good the customer wants to buy.

POS closure

The document printed during the POS closure was enhanced by additional data in the section Cash to provide better control of the state of cash on the POS.
