Order Printers (Gastro)
Receipts for customers are printed on a printer connected to the cash register. If your customers buy food and/or drinks from you that need to be prepared for them after purchase, you can make it easier for your staff by connecting the so-called order printers. As soon as the customer pays for the selected products, in addition to their receipt, an "order" for these dishes/drinks is also printed on a printer connected to the food preparation area.

In the CO, you will need to set up:
Kitchen printers (TIP: If you prepare drinks in a different space than the dishes, two printers will come in handy. With the right settings, each will print only those products that need to be prepared on the spot.);
and the products to be printed (on which) order printer.
In the Cloud Office, in the navigation pane on the left, click Gastro. Then, on the expanded menu, you can see Kitchen printers (point 1) and Kitchen products management (point 2).

Kitchen printers
Each printer must first be put into operation by physically connecting and setting it up directly on the computer. The name that you set for the printer on your computer is also used when you create it in the CO.
You can export the list of already created (filtered) printers to Excel. Create a new one by clicking on the plus at the top right. To rename an existing printer, click on the pencil in its line, and to delete the printer, click on the bin .
When setting up a new printer, select the Location where the printer is installed.
Enter the printer name exactly as used for the printer on the computer itself. (Only then will everything communicate and print correctly.)
Kitchen products management
Here you select the products that need to be printed on order printers. To add a product, you always need to first select a specific Location in the filter at the top left. Add a new line for the next product with the plus at the top right. Added products cannot be edited in any way, only deleted .
Add a product
After clicking on the plus, a new blank line will be added to the top of the list. In the first Product number field, start entering the name of the product you are looking for. Once you see it among the options, click on it. (Circles indicate which products are active and which are not.)
Then, in the Kitchen printer name field, select the one to which this product should be sent. Only those printers that were created in the Kitchen printers section for the (at the beginning) selected location are offered. (see previous section)
The saving occurs automatically. There is therefore no Save button to click on.
